A Day of Rest
Following a busy couple of days with the ATV (well, busy for me), I returned the quad bike at 9 am on my way back from breakfast. Without transportation, my only plan for today was spending lots of time relaxing at Kamares beach, soaking up as much sun as possible. As a result, today’s update will be pretty short as I don’t have a lot to add that I’ve not already done or said on one of my previous Sifnos entries.
After breakfast, I did purchase my ferry ticket for the next leg of my journey. I had planned to use Champion Jet 2 again on Sunday to get from Sifnos to Serifos, but when I enquired about tickets I was told there was also an alternative ferry, Dionisos Solomos, leaving just 15 minutes later and at a cheaper price. Never one to pass up a bargain – or an opportunity to use a slower ferry where I could sit outside in the warm Greek sunshine – I opted for the latter.
For dinner, I returned to Da Claudio (I know, more Italian food) but this time deciding on a pizza rather than pasta. It was wonderful and managed to maintain my 100% record of great meals on Sifnos!
