A few minutes walk west of Aliki, a small beach resort on the south coast of Paros, Agios Nikolaos is a wide, sandy beach with clear and calm water. Easy to overlook in favour of the impressive Piso Aliki Beach, it’s still a fantastic place to spend time swimming and sunbathing.
The beach’s eastern end is a mixture of shingle and coarse sand with a slightly rocky shoreline. However, as you walk further west along the coast, it becomes clearer, and the sand quality improves dramatically, so finding the best place to set up for sunbathing is worth the effort.
